Why am I so quiet?

Category gtd
It's a been a week since the last post, and that's because my feet haven't really touched the ground. Hell, I've hardly even had time to update my Facebook status...

"So what's been going on in your world, Julian?" I hear you cry. Well, I've been:

  • Working on a .NET project (SQL-Server, Reporting Services, XPath, C#)
  • Re-writing an existing custom Notes workflow engine to make it more generic and reusable (OpenNTF watch out - on second thoughts, there are probably enough workflow engines lurking around there already)
  • Dealing with the usual end-of-month stuff (invoicing, nagging people for timesheets, etc)
  • Spec'ing out the next phases for a couple of existing projects
  • Learning some cool new things (he says, being very mysterious ...)

Today I'm going to a seminar given by the inestimable David Allen. If you haven't read his book 'Getting Things Done' then it's highly recommended, not just by me but by some other people you may recognise.

Gravatar Image1 - You can never have too many options for generic reusable workflow engines. I love Qenos and have been working on ways to allow it to smoothly plug in to SuperNTF, but I would still love to have something "lighter" that could become a core part of SuperNTF. As with the rest of SuperNTF, the key requirement is "easy for newbies to understand".

Feel free to bounce ideas/code off me.

Gravatar Image2 - Thanks Kevin. I'll email you some more details ...

Gravatar Image3 - Hello Julian

What interesting things are you mysteriously referring to? And how cool are they?
I'm really wanting to get stuck into the teachings of the Ed Dale gang but am having trouble finding the time. I have, however, got my little old blog chugging away { Link }

Take care
