Are you a Notes developer in an Exchange/Outlook shop?

Category
If so, and you're attending Lotusphere 2009, there's a 'Birds of a Feather' session on Wednesday afternoon that may interest you:

Developing Lotus Notes Applications in an Microsoft Outlook Email Environment

If you're in that position, and have experiences to share or want to hear how others deal with the challenges raised, come along to BOF208 on Wednesday at 5:45 in Swan Macaw 2. Got that? Hope to see literally several of you there. And then we can head straight off to the closing-night party afterwards.

Note that this is specifically to talk about Notes client applications - not Domino (web-based) ones.

Comments

Gravatar Image1 - I won't be there, but I would be more than willing to put down a few notes about my challenges with client apps.

Gravatar Image2 - I wouldn't limit yourself to just Notes-client shops, I can't think of a single one that's strictly for the client any more, and a surprising number are now almost all web development. And yes, we still deal with the "why didn't you do that in Microsoft" crap.

Gravatar Image3 - @1 - A BOF about the challenges of developing Notes client apps would probably need to last a lot longer than an hour! Emoticon

@2 - If a site is all web (Domino) development, that's fine. This BOF, though, is going to focus on the integration issues that arise when you have Outlook for email and Notes for apps, both installed on the desktop.
